Services
A variety of services are available to provide individualized, comprehensive headache care from initial consultation through ongoing treatment.
Common Services Include
Comprehensive Evaluation
A complete health history and neurologic exam are completed at the initial consultation and subsequent follow-ups visits when necessary.
Ordering Diagnostic Testing
If indicated, further evaluation with diagnostic testing (MRI/MRA, CT/CTA, Lumbar Puncture, Bloodwork) will be recommended and ordered.
Prescription Medications
If necessary, you will be prescribed medications to manage your headaches. Treatment may include preventative and/or abortive medications. If appropriate, over the counter medications may be recommended.
Injections
Trigger point injections and nerve blocks will be offered and performed in the office when indicated.
*Prior authorization from insurance may be required before the injections can be performed
Botox Injections
OnabotulinumtoxinA (Botox) injections will be offered and performed in the office for CHRONIC MIGRAINE only.
*Prior authorization and a financial agreement will be required prior to starting botox treatment
IV Infusion Therapy
IV infusion therapy can be used to treat a migraine acutely that is refractory to other treatments. Vyepti is an IV infusion therapy offered for migraine prophylaxis
